AGARTALA, Feb 28 (TIWN): Ahead of the counting day for Tripura Assembly polls on March 2nd, CEO Kiran Gitte said that there will sufficient security arrangements at the 21 venues across the state where the counting will take place. CEO who was inspecting the counting hall at Umakanta Academy, said, there will be three-tier security setup in the counting centers. One will be at the outside to check the passes, the second layer will check the items which are carrying by the persons entering, the third layer will be in front of the counting hall, where access will be given to only those who are authorized.
“No mobile will be allowed except the observers. We have supplied sufficient security forces across the state. After result declarations also, there will be security arrangements in some areas. The counting will start at 8 am and the EVM counting will start at 8.30 am. There will be around 5 rounds of counting and in some areas there can be 6 to 7 rounds of counting. So by 12 O’Clock the picture will be quite clear”, said CEO.
Tripura Election was held on February 16 and the result will be declared on March 2nd.
