SONAMURA, Feb 26 (TIWN): ONGC workers have been drilling in Sonamura's Mainama area for a long time under this drill site accommodation. But today during cooking, a sudden fire flames started from the cooking gas cylinder and 1 worker in charge of the kitchen was injured. Allegation was raised that due to unscientific kitchen arrangements, such an incident has occurred. It is alleged that the authority has unscientifically placed multiple gas cylinders in the kitchen. After today’s incident, 1 kitchen of ONGC's drill site accommodation at Sonamura's Khedabari was completely destroyed. From this temporary residence, the workers of the company were doing drilling work in Sonamura's Mainama area.

Immediately after the incident, the fire department of Sonamura was informed. 1 fire engine went and brought the fire under control. 1 worker in charge of the kitchen was injured in the fire incident.

The fire caused panic in the area. Firefighters said there were a total of 7 gas cylinders in the kitchen. 3 cylinders exploded in this incident. Locals have complained that the firemen took a long time to reach the spot after receiving the information.
