AGARTALA, Feb 7 (TIWN): BJP yet to declare about the exact reason behind sacking of Biplab Deb from CM post though he was not even given Assembly poll ticket in this Assembly poll.

Home Minister Amit Shah has fully avoided Biplab Deb and Deb was further not seen in any program sharing dais with Amit Shah.

Biplab Deb was removed from CM post on May 14, 2022 allegedly due to massive corruption and moral degradation.

Amit Shah during his Tripura visit, addressed Santir Bazar rally and sought votes for BJP saying if BJP gets more 5 years, Tripura will emerge as the No-1 state in Northeast.
