AGARTALA, Feb 6 (TIWN): Amid Tripura topped in political violence in the entire Northeast Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday claimed that Tripura has turned peaceful state under the BJP era.
“Remember the days under Congress and the Communists. Today Tripura has become very peaceful state”, claimed Shah amid massive violence ongoing in Tripura everyday.
Even in last 24 hours more than 5 incidents of major violence held in Tripura amid the poll season.
Shah further said, in next 5 years Tripura will emerge as the most progressive state in India.
It was the BJP regime when newspaper office was set on fire, vandalized in broad day light along with other property damages across Agartala city. The whole crime was organized on camera and the episode left without arrests, punishments of the culprits. But the double-engine Govt’s Union Home Minister claimed that peace was restored in Tripura.
