BISHALGARH, Feb 4 (TIWN): Petrol bomb was thrown at BJP leader’s house in Bishalgarh on Saturday after her husband Krishnachandra Debnath had joined CPI-M rally there.
The incident at the house of BJP Mohila Morcha General Secretary of Gautam Nagar, Bishalgarh has triggered massive tension in the area.
Talking to the victim, she said, “It was near midnight, when I could spot fire in front of my room. I have no idea how the fire was caught. Suddenly, I did not open the window, rather I called my neighbours who helped a lot. By window, I could find the petrol bomb in front of my room”.
“My husband went to CPI-M rally yesterday evening. I am BJP leader but my husband’s view is his own. He entered home yesterday and no issue erupted but suddenly today midnight such an incident has put me in tension”, said the BJP leader.
Police reached the spot after getting information at around 1.30 PM.
