High Drama in Tripura BJP Offices over Candidates’ List Announcement : Booth Offices Vandalized by Party Workers

AGARTALA, Jan 28 (TIWN): Drama went to its peak in Tripura BJP offices after the party had announced its candidates’ list.
Tripura witnessed massive rivalry inside BJP, party offices were vandalized, flags were burnt and BJP’s report cards were destroyed by agitating workers.
Many party offices were closed by the party workers declaring that they will not work in the election as their expected candidates were deprived.
Many BJP MLAs did not receive tickets. Overall situation dramatically changed within hours of candidates’ list declaration.
Tripura Election is to be held on 16th February and the result will be declared on March 2nd.
