AGARTALA, Jan 27 (TIWN): BJP fumes as ruling ADC party Tipra Motha refused to align with BJP in the 2023 Poll. Tipra Motha Supremo Pradyot Manikya after the decision when returned state told media at Agartala MBB Airport “Fight for truth is more important that fight for winning by compromising. It was a huge pressure but my heart stopped me from compromising”.
Tipra Motha Supremo along with his team visited Delhi on January 25, and met Amit Shah after being invited to a discussion followed by a meeting of Tipra Motha leaders with NEDA convenor cum Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma but as said earlier, without writing, Tipra Motha would not align, Pradyot Manikya rejected BJP’s verbal assurances.
