AGARTALA, Jan 26 (TIWN): On Republic Day, BJP local leaders under Kamalasagar Assembly Constituency allegedly did not allow Congress to hoist the National flag. Congress workers alleged that they were stopped by the ruling party leaders when they came to hoist the National Flag at the party office.

Congress worker also alleged that their Congress Party office was shut down by BJP miscreants after the BJP formed in state. Also it is said that they thought in the party office they will organize Congress’s joining program.

The matter was informed to Bishalgarh PS and the Congress activist stated that the Administrative took initiative accordingly.

The situation was brought under control due to police's immediate action and Congress workers were allowed to hoist national flag.
