AGARTALA, Jan 25 (TIWN): Speculations by various media for last 1 years are now becoming true about Tipra Motha and BJP’s long-time relation, although a major section of Tipra Motha workers is from Non-BJP voters. Either post-poll or pre-poll, but Tipra Motha will align with BJP in 2023 poll which is now more clear as the leaders of Tipra Motha faced the media while leaving Agartala MBB Airport. One of the leaders said that already Tipra Motha supremo Pradyot Manikya is in New Delhi and there will be an official meeting with Amit Shah and a discussion will be held about constitutional solution for the Greater Tipraland. Leaders like Mebar Jamatia who is hailing from IPFT, also visited Delhi with his wife Geeta Debbarma, who was defeated by Tipra Motha in ADC poll.

In 2018, IPFT was assured by BJP about Tipraland and then BJP-IPFT aligned Govt was formed but later BJP said, it never promised about a separate state. Similar situation now has erupted in 2023 poll where the same IPFT leaders now in Tipra Motha are in Delhi to get assurance about Greater Tipraland.

Nodoubt, getting Tipra Motha beside is a major breakthrough for the BJP in 2023 poll as Tipra Motha has stronghold in 20 seats out of total of 60 seats in Tripura Assembly constituencies.
