AGARTALA, Jan 24 (TIWN): On Monday Morning an active member of BJP named Suman Das was attacked by unknown miscreants with a sharp weapon while he was on Morning walk in Aralia area. He is also SC Morcha’s Mandal president of Banamalipur. After the attack he was brought to GB Hospital where CM Manik Saha rushed to the GB Hospital and blamed the Congress-CPIM behind the attack, and also Pointing Congress he said that after aligning with CPIM they have been started attacking.
However, CM Manik Saha’s blame-game towards opposition CPIM-Congress did not Work out as Tripura Police from their official facebook Page clarified that the reason behind the attack on BJP activist Suman Das was Business rivalry.
However, along with CM Manik Saha, sacked CM Biplab Deb and Speaker Ratan Chakraborty too rushed to the GB hospital to meet with the injured BJP activists. So far Police detained two miscreants based on the victim's statement, who organised the attack by covering faces, informed SDPO Ajay Kumar Das.
