AGARTALA, Jan 22 (TIWN): Opposition CPI-M on Sunday filed a complaint against the BJP who have been using slang words, and displayed wrong gestures instead of direct physical violence since the Election Commission issued guidelines to police to ensure law and order. In Khayerpur on Sunday, BJP workers although could not attack CPI-M rally due to security forces but used other psychological means to disturb the rally participants. In front of police and security personnel extremely derogatory remarks were made, and few CPI-M leaders were personally attacked by name. “Police protected us by standing beside us but no action was taken to stop them or catch the culprits. We are not happy with the police role. Such a suffocating environment is everywhere in Tripura. It should be stopped”, said CPI-M leader Ratan Das. CPI-M delegation team met DM and requested strict action on spot against such culprits.
