AGARTALA, Jan 6 (TIWN): For the past few days, the ruling party BJP bike gang goons have been creating terror in city Udaipur. 3 days back in Jamjuri Rajdhanagar area miscreants tried to create riots among Hindus and Muslims and set fire to the shops of opposition supporters. Also on last Wednesday miscreants set fire in Congress Bhawan by throwing Petrol Bomb in Udaipur.

Centering the attack of BJP bike gang goons on opposition Congress, Congress activists on Friday held a protest rally. The protest rally started from Jamtala District Congress Bhavan and passed through PS Corner, Center Road, Newton Road and ended in front of Radha Kishore Pur Police Station. At the end, the supporters of the Congress started protesting by surrounding the Radha Kishorepur PS.

Later, a delegation of six members under the leadership of District Congress President Titon Pal, Congress leader Milan Kar, Rajiv Samada handed over a memorandum to Babul Das, OC of Radha Kishorepur police station raising five points demand. The demands were raised mainly the arrest of the accused involved in setting fire to the Congress Bhawan.  Besides he condemned the attack by BJP miscreants.

Babul Das, OC of Radha Kishorepur police station assured the Congress workers that the culprits would be arrested and punished soon. The presence of Congress workers in this protest rally on Friday was noticeable.
