Addressing on the occasion, Minister Prasad Pal said that this Fire Station will work as backup for the entire Agartala and that’s why it has been made with huge area.

He stated huge numbers of Fire Staff will exist and at any big Fire Accident it can be used. With that point of view, this Fire Station was made.

He also criticized the previous CPI-M Govt saying, CPI-M Govt only propagated that Fire Station will be made here but after BJP Govt came to power, the budget was sanctioned.
