Although STGT candidates are in protest for last 3 months but the Govt likely playing with them and slowing the process. Finance and Education Dept’s display-disputes are as if a show-off to fool the unemployed youths.
Everytime, the STGT candidates were given varied statements by the Ministers, sometimes police’s lathi-charge had injured many. Recently after Education Minister said the recruitment is up to the Finance Dept, the candidates met Finance Minister, Dy CM Jishnu Debbarman and were assured that soon a step will be taken in their support but all went in vain and no update the STGT received about recruitment. Then, the job aspirants gheraoed Chief Minister Manik Saha’s residence requesting him to meet them and give a clear statement, but till now CM has not met them.
Over thousands of STGT qualified candidates are now jobless in Tripura amid huge teachers’ crisis, shutting down of Govt schools in state.
