AGARTALA, January 17 (TIWN): The two day long international seminar at Kabi Nazrul Mahavidyalaya in Sonamura Sub Division came to an end today.

Vice Chancellor of Tripura University, A Central University Professor Anjan Kumar Ghosh was present in the seminar.

The seminar highlighted on ‘Patriarchy and Gender in Colonial and Post Colonial South Asia.’

Besides, Director of Higher Education Department Dr. Bipradas Palit, Teaching Professor of Emeritus of State University of New York, Oswego Geraldine Forbes, Professor of Dhaka University Sonia Nishat Amin and Principal of Kabi Nazrul Mahavidyalaya Dr. Bimal Kumar Roy were present in the seminar.

The two-day long seminar was supported by ICSSR and ICHR of Ministry of Human Resource Development. Such seminar in international level was organized at the sub division for the first time.
