AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Health Dept suffered the most under BJP Govt due to dry-recruitment process. It has been years since no recruitment of pharmacists took place and under the BJP Govt not a single pharmacist was recruited. The job aspirants met many times with the Director but no outcome came out. Last year on 21st December the Cabinet decided to recruit 25 Ayurvedic and 22 Homeopathic pharmacists. Even though vacancies are massive but still limited numbers of posts were announced. Since then the job aspirants started preparing for exams but it has crossed 1-Year and there is no notification yet about recruitment.
Today, 8th time the job aspirants reached the Director’s office seeking recruitment. The job aspirants requested the Govt that the notification should be published soon as jobless conditions are making them frustrated day by day.
Like Pharmacists, Nurses, Doctors and various professionals in Health Stream are jobless and in last five years recruitment remained almost nil, although BJP before 2018 election promised to fill up 50,000 vacant posts within 1-Year of Govt formation.
