AGARTALA, Dec 24 (TIWN): Tipra Motha on Saturday organized a protest rally against the attack by BJP workers on Tipra Motha workers. The party has demanded arrests of all the culprits behind the attack. Addressing the rally, a Tipra Motha leader warned BJP if BJP does not stop violence then Tipra Motha workers also will counter back.
He also warned the main action will be taken after 2023 Election and that the “due” will be paid back.
The statement came after a deadly attack on Tipra Motha workers in Hrishyamukg, many were injured.
Allegations were raised against BJP behind the attack. At least four persons were injured in the attack and out of them two are critical and one of them named Subal Tripura was hospitalized.
Tipra Motha stated that they could identify the attackers and all are from BJP.
An FIR was lodged at the local police station though no action has been taken place.
Tipra Motha party has warned BJP to stay away from such activities; otherwise Tipra Motha will also counter such attacks to give BJP the taste of their own medicine.
On the other hand, the BJP on Saturday alleged massive embezzlement of funds in ADC. The statement came amid Tipra Motha refusal to surrender before the BJP by aligning for 2023 Election.
On Saturday, BJP organized a press meet and alleged that massive embezzlement of funds happened in ADC under Tipra Motha in last few years. BJP also said a letter to be submitted to the Governor regarding the issue.
On the contrary, Tipra Motha supremo months back replied to BJP’s foul cries over corruption saying “When there is no fund to ADC, how can corruption take place ?”
