AGARTALA, Dec 24 (TIWN): Journalists expressed resentment against singer Sonu Nigam for his careless attitude against the emergency incident at Astabal stadium when the stage of the journalists collapsed.

Too many journalists reached Astabal stadium which was beyond the stage capacity made by ICAT Dept. Due to overload, the stage collapsed which was categorically made for the media persons. 

However, Sonu Nigam reportedly did not stop and continued singing his song ignoring the entire matter, which has erupted resentment among the journalists.

Many journalists posted on social media about the incident. Some of them called Sonu Nigam 'inhuman'.

Few journalists were injured in the incident and one was admitted to GB hospital.

The concert was organized by ICAT Dept voicing for "Nesha Mukt Tripura" and "Say No to Drugs".

Chief Minister Manik Saha, Deputy CM Jishnu Debbarman, ICAT Dept Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and other Ministers, MLAs were present on the occasion.
