AGARTALA, Dec 23 (TIWN): CPI-M Belonia Committee on Friday organized a rally followed by a meeting keeping various demands related to public life.
Demands raised Proper Services of Belonia Municipal Council Civil, Developmental Works, TUAP Works, Employment for Unemployed. Raising such various demands, the rally also organized raising demands to curb abnormal price hike, increased water tax, and abolition of wealth tax.
The rally started from Belonia Arya Colony. The rally passed through Banspara Colony, Cinema Hall Chowmuhani, Progressive Club, Gangaili, Ramthakur Para, visited various booth areas and ended at Kalinagar Motor Stand. A road meeting was organized later.
CPI-M state leader Dipankar Sen in the rally said that booth-based rallies will be organized on the urgent demands of the people.
CPI-M South District Secretary Basudev Majumder, State Leader Dipankar Sen, Women Leader Anindita Saha, Bakul Debnath and other leaders and activists were present in the rally and meeting. The presence of the people at the rally was noticeable.
