AGARTALA, Dec 22 (TIWN): In an alleged fabricated case, opposition CPI-M party workers were put behind the bar which generated heavy resentment against Kalyanpur police and the ruling BJP Govt. However, a Court in Kalyanpur denied the CPI-M worker's bail but Tripura High Court on Wednesday has bailed out all the four CPI-M workers. After the bail order was issued CPI-M party slammed the BJP and said, "CPI-M can't be made afraid with such false cases. CPI-M's movement will continue".
Addressing media, Advocate Subrata Sarkar said, “One Kalidash Deb filed false case against CPI-M workers in Kalyanpur. The case was filed based on allegation that his son went to a field with cattle with 35,000 rupees with him and then the CPI-M workers looted him and attacked him brutally with sharp weapons. Kalyanpur PS lodged case under section 341, 326, 307, 379 of the IPC. On that day four CPI-M workers Sankar Das, Pintu Das, Bijoy Das, Rakhal Kurmi were arrested and produced before Court”.
“When we appealed in Court, they did not get bail. Then we moved to High Court and High Court has bailed them out”, said the Advocate.
