AGARTALA, Dec 20 (TIWN): Belonia Arya Colony School is reeling under Teachers’ Crisis.
This is not the first school that has been suffering due to such a crisis as every day there are reports of protests against teachers’ crisis in Tripura schools.
On Tuesday, parents and students of the school jointly held a protest seeking an immediate halt to a teacher’s transfer. The parents told the media that the transfers could be made after a few months when more teachers will come or the board exams, session to be started newly.
Last month, Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated a building in that school but amid infrastructural developments, there are massive shortages of teachers which have paralyzed the Education system.
The agitating guardians and students locked the main gate of the school.
Reportedly, the school has 152 numbers of students till class 5, but only 6 teachers are right now in that school with no headmaster.
