AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath was seen dancing on Sunday before PM Modi’s arrival at Astabal ground raising the slogan ‘Modi, Modi’ with an over excited mood, but that excitement is only in Minister's mind as the reality of the state is just the opposite especially in Education and Health sector.

Students of Matinagar School blocked Sonamura-Boxanagar road raising Teachers crisis issue in the School. Talking with the student it is known the School has been reeling under severe teacher crisis, it is known the School holds 300 Students strength and the Teacher strength is only 9. It is alleged that the School has no Boundary wall and Gate.

The matter was informed to Panchayat Pradhan earlier but no initiative was taken to recruit teachers in the School. As a result, seeing no option, the students blocked road demanding teachers in the School. The student alleged that after 1^st or 2^nd Period in the classes couldn’t continue due to teacher shortages in the School.

The agitating student said that they will not withdraw their Road blockade until any official came to the spot and gave positive assurances.
