AGARTALA, Dec 15 (TIWN): Dental Council of India has permitted Tripura Govt to start Dental Medical College in Tripura. The project was initiated by Chief Minister Manik Saha who himself has been a dentist and a professor throughout his career. Chief Minister Manik Saha himself held a press meet and read out the letter of permission in front of media. Saha informed that total 50 seats will be there and 7% reserved for the Govt of India where probably Northeast students to be given preference. The Dental council has permitted that. The college campus will be located at IGM hospital.
Session to be started from 2023-24 and via NEET the admission will be done.
“As PM Modi is arriving on 18th December so the college to be inaugurated by PM Modi himself”, said Manik Saha.
