AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): CPI-M worker Haripada Sarma’s house in Jangalia, Bishalgarh was set on fire by unknown miscreants.
Reportedly, Haripada Sharma's house was set on fire several times by miscreants. Yesterday also same episode was repeated when his house and farm both were set on fire.
Family members of Haripad Sharma's house started screaming after seeing the flames of fire set by the miscreants. Immediately, the people of the neighboring houses rushed to inform the Bishalgarh fire department.
An engine of the Bishalgarh Fire Brigade rushed to the spot and did not see any situation to bring the fire under control. Later more force was deployed but nothing could be saved much. Over 25 lakhs rupees of losses is now being faced by the CPI-M leader.
Such an incident once again has raised question over the law and order situation of the state under BJP.
