AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress leader Rajib Banerjee expressed shocks over IGM hospital charging the public for X-Ray when he was talking to injured unemployed youths who were beaten up by police brutally in front of Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath’s home.
However, since the BJP Govt came into power Tripura Medical services were privatized and for each test, now people have to pay, whereas in other states Govt hospitals are free for all.
Trinamool, CPI-M, Congress and other political party leaders visited IGM Hospital today after the incident.
After 40 job aspirants were taken to IGM hospital for treatment. However from police no help was provided to bring the injured persons to hospital.
All the political parties have condemned Police brutality against the innocent, peacefully agitating unemployed youths.
