AGARTALA, Dec 12 (TIWN): A Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader’s shop was raided by Bishalgarh police and seized two containers of brown sugar. Two persons were arrested in the raid ; one is RSS leader Suman Chakraborty and another Rakesh Debnath, BJP Juba Morcha Incharge in the locality.
The detained man Suman Chakraborty is also an RSS leader. His shop is located at Bishalgarh Office Tilla market. Locals alleged that the shopkeeper behind the garment shops was selling drugs to the school students and youths.
This illegal peddling was allegedly going on for many years but under the new CM Manik Saha, drug peddlers are under scanner and finally he was also arrested in such a raid.
Another BJP leader Rakesh Debnath, in-charge of BJP Juba Morcha of Bishalgarh BJP Mandal, Arvindnagar was also arrested by police. He tried to escape from the shop but CRPF jawans caught him.
