AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): Ruling ADC party Tipra Motha has announced to fight in 31 seats out of 60 for confirmed victory. Addressing a press meet, Pradyot Mnaikya after launching Tipra Citizens Federation stated that apart from these 31 seats, more seats likely to be given to Tipra Motha candidates and if needed 60 out of 60 seats will be contested by Tipra Motha in the upcoming poll. “Apart from ST there are non ST who have been lagging behind because of social and economic reasons. SC, OBC, Tea garden workers, Muslims belong to such category. We will introduce new faces whose reputation was not spoiled earlier in politics. So fresh candidates will be introduced”.
“Regarding Delhi movement, we got very positive response from the Center but we are not going to meet anyone. We have placed out memorandum and now if Center wants it will agree to our demands or BJP has to face the challenge with us in the upcoming poll”, said Pradyot Manikya.
“Today it’s a jolt for the political analysts who were assuming that Tipra Motha is going to fight only in 20 seats in the Assembly Poll”, said Pardyot Manikya.
