AGARTALA, Dec 11 (TIWN): Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath while addressing TET Qualified teachers on Sunday said that Tripura will become No-1 and people will see where would Tripura Education system go in next 7 to 10 years. “I am not sure whether I will be alive or not. I think Mayor (Dipak Majumder) will stay and everyone will see where the Education system will be uplifted by that. And, that work will be done by you (TET Qualified Teachers)”, said Ratan Lal Nath. However, the Minister reminded TET qualification does not mean jobs. “I can give examples of many states where so many unemployed youths are seated even after TET qualification. However, our state is different", said Nath.
"We need teachers and we have teachers’ crisis and that’s why we are recruiting everyone together without depriving anyone”, said Ratan Lal Nath amid TET exams have become tough now under the BJP Govt and minimum marks for qualification have also been increased.
Ratan Lal Nath further blamed 25 years of CPI-M Govt for people’s mindset. Nath said people in Tripura are yet very negative and think no progress will happen in anything and also in their lives but people have to overcome that mentality.
