AGARTALA, Dec 10 (TIWN): After 5 years of Govt, suddenly BJP Govt remembered that they need to renovate a school at Shanti Para named Khetramohan Academy school whereas the BJP Govt after assuming power closed over thousands of schools due to teachers crisis. After closing of so many schools, the teachers’ crisis problem was not ended when eligible candidates are waiting for jobs. Now question raises, when the Govt is able to provide teachers in schools, by photo-ops with old schools, blaming the previous Govt for not taking care of one school, will the Govt finally be able to provide quality education there without teachers.
Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha along with Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath visited an old school at Shantir Para and checked the situation there.
It was reported that the local people wanted a renovation of the school.
Based on the demand CM assured that the school to be launched soon after laying a new foundation stone.
Chief Secretary G K Sinha and Education Dept Officials were present on that occasion.
Over thousands of job aspirants are still in the row seeking a response from the TRBT regarding recruitment. The main concern of the STGT-qualified candidates is as the Election is approaching and less than two months remained for that there will be a closure of job recruitment. On the other hand, the STGT qualification certificate will turn invalid. With all these, the job aspirants protested in front of the Shiksha Bhawan on Thursday.
They have demanded all qualified candidates must be recruited together.
“We are roaming from door to door to get legal support but we are not getting any help. So we have bound to protest here because the allegations are coming against the TRBT. If we do not get any proper answer, we are going to start a massive movement”, said an agitating youth.
