AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): Over 6000 posts are still vacant under the school education department for teachers whereas STGT qualified candidates are not getting recruitments. The job aspirants on Monday demanded recruitment after they had organized a meeting at the Agartala press club. Their only demand is that they should be recruited at the earliest. In the name of a case filed in High Court against ongoing recruitment or selection of candidates, Tripura Govt has paralyzed the recruitment process of STGT qualified unemployed youths, even though the Govt has been propagating about recruiting all TET qualifiers together.
Addressing a press conference, STGT qualifiers asked the media, is this the way that the Govt is trying to improve the quality of Education in Tripura?
“Our certificates will be validated only for a few months. What will happen to us after that?”, said the job aspirants expressing resentment over the role of the Education Dept in recruiting STGT teachers.
Tripura’s various schools are suffering due to teachers’ crisis right now.
