TIWN Dec 4, 2022

AGARTALA, Dec 4 (TIWN): 10323 teachers said, they will move to protest on 9th December. That movement will be peaceful and simply to send a message to the State Govt that the Govt must solve the 10323 teachers’ issue. “This will be the last appeal to the Govt and after that no more requests will be made as 10323 teachers will start massive protest seeking their rights. Due to Govt’s indecisiveness, 10323 teachers are suffering majorly. We can’t accept that anymore. Govt must take a decision what it can do for us as per its promise. Now the Govt has many options if it wants to really solve our matters”, said a terminated 10323 teacher.
10323 teachers-JMC members also said, they have their full support for all the movements of 10323 teachers including the ongoing hunger strike.
“Any movement for the 10323 teachers, to be supported by us. But now the Govt has not act positively or we will not wait after Dec 9”, said Bijoy Krishna Saha, JMC leader.
10323 Teachers under “Joint Movement Committee” (JMC) earlier had postponed their protest of November 21st as Chief Minister has allowed JMC to be a part of the meeting with him. JMC has requested CM Manik Saha to look after their matter as there are lots of opportunities through which, the BJP Govt can save 10323 teachers’ lives, but after meeting with CM, no solution has come out.
10323 teachers have lost their jobs before 33 months based on Supreme Court’s verdict. However, 10323 teachers claimed, the verdict was misinterpreted and their jobs were never gone.
