AGARTALA, Dec 3 (TIWN): From the beginning of the dry season, there is a severe shortage of drinking water in the village hills. The only source of drinking water is untreated water from unhygienic sources.

Locals of Kakrachara ADC village are deprived of clean drinking water. Scarcity of clean drinking water in Hazra para of Kankrachara ADC Village under Mungiakami Block, Teliamura subdivision have literally rattled the villagers lives.

It is known that from Teliamura town one has to cross the uphill hilly road to the remote Hazra neighborhood of Mungiakami block of Teliamura subdivision.

Locals have demanded immediate solution of the problems.

Amid such scarcity of water BJP is distributing reports cards claiming house-to-house water has been supplied.
