AGARTALA, Dec 2 (TIWN): CPI-M Party organized a massive rally in Rishyamukh, Sonaichari Bazar.
The rally organized at South Sonaichari Bazar with slogans demanding to prevent abnormal price increase, prevent increased water tax.
The agitators also demanded an increase in wages. Protest staged against deprivation to Govt employees, lack of social security and law and order issues.
South District Secretary Basudev Majumdar, Divisional Secretary Tapas Dao, State Committee member Dipankar Sen, students, youth, women, workers, leaders of various public organizations took part in the procession.
Speaking at the rally, the speakers strongly criticized the various activities of the BJP-IPFT coalition government.
