AGARTALA, January 15 (TIWN): The state government launched online services for availing scholarships, skill development training, disability certificates among other benefits. The benefits will be given as part of its State Service Delivery Gateway (SSDG) project.
A government statement said that the SSDG project was implemented to make government services available to citizens at distant areas.
The new services will give scopes to people to apply for merit and Sanskrit scholarships online. Application for skill development training, application for factory registration and application for disability and medical certificates will be open in the online application system.
The government statement said that provision for making online application for the services will be available through the state portal where one can access the services by clicking ‘Apply online for citizen services’.
By clicking on this link, one can go to the page for availing the services where the user will need to login. Option is provisioned in the same page for making registration with the system that will generate a Citizen Access Number (CAN) and a password.
The services will be open for use 24x7 throughout the year.
