KAILSAHAHR, Nov 26 (TIWN): A BJP worker was beaten up in Kailashahar allegedly by CPI-M workers.
BJP has alleged that BJP member Debasish Datta was attacked by CPI-M workers who left him injured severely. The incident took place at Chandipur village in Kailashahar. It has generated tension in the local area.
However, no evidence could be placed by BJP party to testify their claims.
BJP led by Kailashahar Mandal Vice President Prashanta Dey placed a deputation to Kailashahar PS OC Bijoy Das seeking arrests of CPI-M workers.
Debasish Datta was going on his bike when CPI-M workers allegedly attacked him. BJP warned, if CPI-M party workers are not arrested then a massive protest will be held after 24 hours will be passed.
