GANDACHERA, Nov 22 (TIWN): Massive water crisis has been causing heavy distress among the locals in Gandachera led two areas’ people to block road.
Two separate roadblocks were organized in Gandachera : one at the Haripur area under East Gandachers and another at 33 KV area at Gandachera-Ambassa road.
Talking to the media, an agitating women said their area has been suffering due to water crisis for a long time but the Govt has failed to solve our problems.
“So many times, we went to the local leaders with our demands but nothing happened. I would say, this Govt has done nothing for us. Earlier at least a little amount of water was provided to us under Left Front Govt. Then BJP promised us to end our problems forever but instead of development, the situation has worsened”, said the agitating woman.
