KUMARGHAT, Nov 21 (TIWN): Dead body of an Assam Rifles Jawan was found on a scooter beside National Highway.

The dead body of the jawan of Assam Rifles was recovered on the scooty on the side of the national highway in Missiontila area under Kumarghat police station.

The name of the deceased is Biswajit Bhattacharya (38), resident of Rajnagar Shakti Sangh area in Fatikrai. Police have arrested one person on charges of premeditated murder.

Family members have alleged the incident as a pre-planned murder.
