AGARTALA, Nov 19 (TIWN): Police of NCC police station Police raided Ratan Debnath's house in East Barajala behind Ginger Hotel based on secret sources information of storing narcotic items at his home.

During search operation in Ratan Debnath's house, NCC PS Police recovered Brown Sugar of 14 Pouch, weighing 1.70 grams, and the market value of the recovered items is Rs  40 lakhs.

Also Cash amount Rs 23,000 was recovered from his house.

Police detained the accused youth Ratan Debnath's and a case has been lodged against him under NDPS act. Police interrogating him but yet he has not revealed anything, Police suspect many others are involved along with and interrogation is under process to find out the others name.
