AGARTALA, Nov 17 (TIWN): Jatan Bari to Chelagang road repair work is going on under Korbook Block under Korbook Sub-Division after a long demand from locals to repair the dilapidated road, but the construction is allegedly under a massive scandal.

A few days ago, the road repair work was started, but allegedly the road construction has been continuing with huge corruptions. Noticing this the residents of Nij Chandra Para stopped the road renovation work.

Nij Chandra Para area locals blocked the contractor Pradip Datta of Udaipur and PWD Engineer Jayant Brahman.

Locals spoke and stopped the road work raising allegations of poor work and the materials being used are of poor quality.
