AGARTALA, Nov 16 (TIWN): In January 2022 a Forensic College was started. The college was started at a Govt's house in Buddha Mandir area but in the last 11 months nothing has been improved in the infrastructure of this college.
The state government's Ministers and legislators are doing a lot of campaigning about the state's forensic campus, but reality shows the students are facing suffering for infrastructural problems.
There is no basic infrastructure. The Internet system has not been started inside the campus yet. But on the other hand, students are being fully charged for internet bills (even if there is no service). They have to also pay lab charges and other expenses.
There is no provision of fans, AC, drinking water, or accessible toilets. Not enough classrooms, laboratories and examination halls for quality education.
The aggrieved student society has come together and submitted a written complaint to the Director of the National Forensic Science University regarding the poor infrastructure of the forensic campus. Forensic campus assessors have submitted complaints to the director with signatures of nearly a hundred students of different years.
