AGARTALA, Nov 15 (TIWN): Last week Tripura BJP Govt’s Police displayed brutality on ANM, MPW and staff nurses after they launched a protest demanding recruitment as over 5000 ANM, MPW and Staff nurses are unemployed. As soon as they started move towards Secretariat, the Police force stopped them and forcefully arrested them. Few job aspirants including girls were injured in the police attack. But questions raise what happened to BJP’s promise of fulfilling all vacant posts under the Left Govt. Instead of recruitment, not a single ANM, MPW recruitment took place since BJP came to power in 2018.
Talking to a job aspirant in Agartala, he said, “We have been waiting for 4.5 years for recruitment but no proper answer was given to us”.
Before 2018 Election, BJP as opposition promised that within 1 year BJP Govt will provide 50,000 Govt jobs if voted into power.
