AGARTALA, Nov 15 (TIWN): In a horrifying incident, a housewife was murdered in Dhalai after the murderer had attempted to rape her but failed.
Reportedly, the victim Rani Tripura, W/O-Aldhan Tripura with her two sons was alone at home on Monday at Krishnarai Royaza Para, under Shyamnagar PS, Longtarai Valley subdivision, Dhalai Dist.
At that time, a neighbour named Paramjoy Tripura called her. When she came out, he attempted to enter the room and rape her. The 27 years old woman tried to save her and rushed to a forest area. During the incident, she was murdered by Paramjoy Tripura.
Her dead body was found by her husband. With help of locals, her body was brought to the hospital but Doctor declared her dead.
Police have arrested Paramjoy Tripura.
