UDAIPUR, Nov 10 (TIWN): In a shocking incident, a five years old girl was allegedly raped by her grandfather in Udaipur town.

Police arrested the 60 years old accused on Wednesday night. The accused would be produced before the Court on Thursday.

Talking to media about the incident, Police Officer of R.K.Pur Women PS Ripita Bhattacharjee said that the incident has taken place in Fulkumari area (area No-2). The girl was sent for a medical test.

Case was registered under 376AB & 6 of POCSO along with 53/22 IPC.

However, the officer has not disclosed the accused person’s name yet.
