AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): The Teliamura Block CongressCommittee staged a 3-hour public sit-in demonstration against the BJP-ruledpolitics of caste, religion discrimination and in support of its 20-point demandsat Ampi Choumuhani area.

Nityagopal Rudra Pal, the state leader was present at thisCongress public meeting on this day, criticized the present state government and strongly protested against the ongoing violence on women across the state andthe attacks on Congress workers in state.

Apart from this, Congress leader NityagopalRudra Pal made it clear that the Congress leaders will launch a largeragitation if good governance is not established in the state and if the attackson Congress workers not stopped, including violence against women in the coming days.

Excitement was noticed among the Congress workers present onthis public occasion on Friday. Nityagopal Rudrapal, Congress leader Pradeep Roy along with manyCongress workers were present in this public meeting.
