AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): After the Bishalgarh Political clash, an attack was occurred on Congress supporters in Khowai.

Congress worker Vikram Deb Roy was attacked by miscreants in broad daylight at Ramchandraghat Market. And on the next day, 3^rd November attack was organised on Congress worker Liton Pal at around 8 pm on Thursday night in Khowai sub-division, West Gonki village panchayat Elkashit Das para area. The miscreants seriously injured Congress worker Liton Pal.

Miscreants also hurled bombs at the houses of Sanjan Singh Chowdhury and Sauvik Singh Chowdhury’s house, brother Srirup Singh Chowdhury (a Congress youth leader)  in Khowai Airport area late on Thursday night.

After receiving the information about the incident, the police of Khowai PS rushed to the spot.

Centering the incident many questions have been raised, how much proper investigation will be done or the police would be able to arrest the culprits or not.

Many claimed that even after this incident, if the police sit idly by, then the ‘City of Culture-Khowai’ may witness a bigger incident.

However, it has now remained to be seen what action the Police will take against the miscreants.
