AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): Rs. 1300 crores which were promised by Modi Govt to sanction for Tripura’s Tribal development targeting aspirational blocks and other undeveloped areas, yet to be sanctioned.
Regarding this, Minister Rampada Jamatia was asked in a press meet by media persons. In reply Rampada Jamatia said that he will soon talk to centre about it.
However, Jamatia mentioned it may take May, 2023 to complete the process but in his next visit, he will meet the Finance Minister most likely and raise the matter so that by December that fund may be sanctioned.
“Our state govt has to start the work first as it’s under an inversement system. We have a plan to develop the water treatment plants. If 30% work could be done, then only Govt will sanction the amount for us. I have plans to make the sanctions earlier”, said Rampada Jamatia.
