AGARTALA, Oct 28 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress has demanded CM Manik Saha should step down and admit his failure to maintain the law and order situation.

Trinamool Congress organized a protest rally against the ongoing rape incidents in Tripura and BJP Party’s desperate attempts to save a Minister’s son from rape charges in Kumarghat case.

“BJP active workers, Minister’s son are involved in gangrapes. It shows where the law and order is existing”, said MP Sushmita Deb.

“Shooting incidents have turned common, rapes, murders are massively on rise. In 7 days, 3 rapes happened. If this is the law and order situation then CM should admit his failure and step down”, said Deb.
