AGARTALA, Oct 23 (TIWN): The police of Rajnagar PR Bari police station destroyed a cannabis plant after led a raid based on secret information. The anti-Cannabis operation started on Sunday morning in Manai Pathar village under Rajnagar PR Bari PS. The operation was led under the leadership of Rajnagar PR Bari police station OC Khokon Ghosh. Border Security Force Jawans along with forest department officials and staff have extended their support in the operation. The operation was led by Rajnagar PR Bari police station OC Khokon Ghosh. The Cannabis trees were planted in a few plots in the forest land in the deep forest of Manai Pathar village. The cannabis plant was destroyed but no owner was arrested, reportedly.
OC Khokon Ghosh of Rajnagar PR Bari PS said that more than 4,000 Cannabis plants were destroyed. He also said that he will continue the anti-drug campaign in the coming days.
