AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): The 10323 teachers’ group has challenged the BJP-led State Govt in Tripura with a massive protest and the biggest-ever movement in Tripura which was nowhere seen in this state before. 10323 teachers’ leader Bijoy Krishna Saha said the movement of 10323 teachers will be held if the State Govt is failed to give any proper response by 24th October. Bijoy Krishna Saha said, “The 10323 teachers’ group members who are in a separate platform and conducting hunger strike, we have our moral support to them but as we promised before 24th October, we will not organize any protest movement, so we have refrained ourselves from such protests”.
“But if by 24th October, there is no reply, then Govt must get ready to tackle the biggest ever movement. If the Govt can solve our problems we will organize thanks-giving rally for the Govt. The previous CM gave us fake promises and now the incumbent CM is also cold after promising us to look after the matter”, said Saha regarding the RTI reply from the Supreme Court issue.
“We are the teachers who have been repeatedly attacked by Police, we were injured again and again by police lathi-charge and now the last battle also, will be fought by us”, said 10323 Teachers’ Joint Movement Committee (JMC) leader Bijoy Krishna Saha.
