AGARTALA, Oct 22 (TIWN): CPI-M State Secretary Jitendra Chowdhury on Saturday asked BJP whether it is Indian culture to attack house to house as BJP hypes a lot claiming its faith in Indian-culture. The statement came after CPI-M held a massive rally at Astabal stadium and centering that trains’ bogies were decreased, attacks were held on rally participants, vehicles were stopped in Badharghat, and then at night rally participants’ houses were attacked.

After such attacks, BJP held a press meeting claiming no attack was organized by BJP and that they were CPI-M who attacked CPI-M. BJP also said, CPI-M leaders at Astabal stadium tried to hurt democracy and secularism by bringing false allegations against BJP that BJP is trying to disturb the unity and integrity.

Reacting to the statement, Jitendra Chowdhury displayed the attack incidents’ glimpses in his cell phone in front of the media asking ‘is this BJP’s so-called Indian culture ?’

Chowdhury also said CPI-M does not need to learn secularism from BJP and RSS.
